Talent Acquisition Specialist
Role Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a key driver in shaping Gedeon Richter’s leadership and expert-level talent acquisition strategy. This individual will own end-to-end executive hiring processes (managerial roles but also professional experts), drive leadership assessment and succession planning practices, manage strategic vendor partnerships, and support business leaders and HR with high-impact talent solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of business strategy and talent acquisition in one of Central Europe’s most respected life sciences companies.
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist for fixed-term (at least 2 years).
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Leadership Hiring
- Lead and manage executive recruitment (Managerial level and above), globally and locally, including search strategy, sourcing, candidate evaluation, and offer negotiation
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and HRBPs on talent availability, market insights, and succession opportunities
- Ensure a high-touch candidate experience that reflects the Gedeon Richter brand and EVP
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage executive search firms, assessment providers, and other strategic vendors, ensuring compliance, quality, and ROI
- Drive continuous evaluation of vendor performance and negotiate service agreements in collaboration with procurement
Stakeholder Communication & Influence
- Build strong relationships with C-level leaders, translating business needs into effective hiring and assessment strategies
- Communicate complex recruitment insights, market dynamics, and hiring plans in a clear and impactful way
Your profile
Professional Experience
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years focused on executive recruitment or leadership roles
- Experience in a complex, matrixed, and international environment—pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences preferred
- Proven track record in stakeholder management at senior levels and in managing executive search vendors
Skills & Competencies
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to understand and translate organizational strategy into talent strategy
- Advanced knowledge of assessment methodologies and tools (e.g., Korn Ferry, Lominger, 9-box)
- High emotional intelligence, influencing skills, and consultative mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hungarian
