SAP Functional Integration Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior functional integration manager with deep understanding of SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA modules, integration technologies and business processes.

An ideal candidate has consulting attitude and deep understanding of either the Record to Report domain (FI, CO, BW, Planning) or the production domain (PM, QM.). Please note, that this is not exclusive and combination of other modules will also be considered.

A successful Senior functional integration manager has a good mix of business & technical acumen and a demonstrated capability of being able to see the Big Picture and the details together.

He / she will be part of a highly professional, collaborative, progressive and enthusiastic team.  

This job is hybrid with 3 home office days and 2 regular fixed onsite days in the company’s HQ in Budapest. The entire program management team is present in the head office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

About the program

The goal of SM4RT transformation program is to undertake a large scale business process redesing, followed by the smart greenfield SAP S/4HANA system implementation with related 3rd party systems in 43 international companies of the Group.

The scope covers 5 end-to-end processes, which are Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Produce (both production and logistics), Plan to Maintain and Report to Record (both accounting and controlling). In addition to them, Quality Management is also considered as a separate process stream. This multi-year BPR program is of huge magnitude and organized in multiple projects and and process streams.

The program currently focuses on high level design of concepts in several different areas, making decisions on guiding principles and aligning on the rollout methodology as well as on the exact scope of the global template design, which will form the basis for specification and implementation phases. The program is in English language and is supported by multiple international external advisory firms. 

Tasks

• identifying and analysing SAP S4 internal integration points in the selected areas, supporting the company’s (client) side and driving the conceptual planning
• preparation of operational and strategic decision making proposals for different options or specific problems, supported with business cases
• support and technical control of the Customer side in finding the best value-for-money solution based on a thorough knowledge of best practice / SAP standard solutions
• analysing and planning of interfaces from SAP S4 side, mainly from process and business logic point of view (planning of 3rd party system functionalities is not scope in this position)
• ensuring consistent design, implementation and management of the integration solutions within the SAP S/4 HANA system
• support of SM4RT Program Management team in sourcing of / negotiation with / management of vendors and advisory partners
• cooperation - on behalf of the company (client) – with the Vendor side as well, helping  the whole team in finding the best technical solution
• quality assurance to have consistency regarding the scope of projects in the SM4RT program portfolio and to understand the interdependencies thereof

Competencies

• Solid knowledge of either the Record to Report domain (FI, CO, BW, Planning) or the production domain (PM, QM) . Please note that combination of other modules will also be considered, and developer competence is not required, but a confident knowledge of technical issues is expected.

• Solid knowledge of either the Record to Report E2E process or the Plan to Maintain and QM E2E processes. Please note that other E2E processes will also be considered.

• 8+ years in SAP implementation projects and proven experiences in complex process and SAP ERP functionality planning
• Motivating, demanding and encouraging consultant style for project teams
• Solution oriented, analytical thinking, positive attitude, proactivity
• Masters degree
• Proficiency in English (knowledge of Hungarian language is only ‘nice to have’)
• Excellent communication, cooperation and presentation skills
• High level of commitment, initiative, flexibility and openness to innovations
• Ability to see both the big picture as well as the details if needed
• Comfort in dynamically changing environment
