Program Transformation Office Manager

About the role

  • We are looking for a Senior Program Transformation Office Manager to lead and steer the socalled Value Capture Forum, where all high level BPR and related concepts are finalized and submitted for tactical / operative level decision making in our global digital transformation program, the SM4RT. 
  • The program Transformation Office Manager will report directly to the SM4RT Program Director. This position is part of the SM4RT program management team. 
  • The Program Transformation Office Manager has line management duties as well, he/she will supervise all project managers that are dedicated to the program. 
  • A successful Program Transformation Office Manager must have substantial previous hands-on experience in complex, international BPR projects demonstrated stakeholder management skills to drive decision making process at management level and an ability to see both the big picture as well as the details if needed.  
  • His / her job will be supported by a dedicated change management & communication team. 
  • This job is hybrid, a combination of home office and regular onsite presence in the company’s HQ in Budapest.

About the program

 
  •  The goal of SM4RT program is to undertake the smart greenfield SAP S/4HANA system implementation with related 3rd party systems and in 43 companies of the Group. 
  • The scope covers 5 L1 E2E processes, which are Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Plan to Produce, Plan to Maintain and Report to Record.
  • This multi-year programme is of huge magnitude and currently consists of various preparatory projects, which will be followed by the specification and implementation program phases.
  • The program is supported by multiple external advisory firms.   
 

Your tasks

  • Coordinate the preparation of decision-making proposals regarding program level concepts (overarching several projects and/or departments) 
  • Own and lead the tactical / operational decision-making forum 
  • Build the governance that forms the basis for the transparent and standardized decision making within the program and the documentation of the decisions made 
  • Undertake quality assurance by consequent application of the principles as approved by the program’s strategic level Steering Committee and escalate in case of deviation 
  • Make sure that all stakeholders are involved and briefed in time
  • Constantly prioritize by keeping focus on the program’s key objectives and timeline
  • Build efficient collaboration between the program’s internal team and the contracted external advisory partners 
  • Supervise project managers 

Your educational attainment

  • Masters degree, preferably in economics or in information technology 

Your experience

  • Wide, comprehensive perspective and good understanding of the business, process, technology and organisational aspects of any changes in intracompany or group processes
  • Business, IT and process acumen
  • 10+ years in project management in a large, international corporate environment
  • 5+ years experience in various senior professional roles in projects which scope consisted of larger process redesign and changes in application & data architecture, preferably related to the SAP / S4HANA system
  • 3+ years experience as line manager (preferably leading Project Office, Business & Process Analysts or an IT department) 
  • Experience in vendor management, such as international advisory firms
  • Stakeholder management, good collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Assertive communication skills and the ability to play the “bridge / translator” role between various departments
