The Manager of International Sales Unit role provides strategic direction, fosters a culture of continuous improvement, and ensures the team’s knowledge and focus are harmonized with the needs of the business units. The Line Manager acts as a role model, providing strong leadership and guidance to drive commercial success and professional growth within the team.

Your daily tasks will be

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Key Account Manager team, ensuring high performance and engagement
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and mentoring to support individual and collective growth
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture
  • Translate company strategy and annual priorities into actionable team objectives
  • Adjust team expectations and targets in line with evolving business priorities
  • Ensure the team’s activities are aligned with the strategic direction of the Commercial Directorate and relevant business units
  • Assess and harmonize the team’s knowledge base, ensuring best practices and expertise are shared
  • Organize regular training and knowledge-sharing sessions to address gaps and support continuous learning
  • Build strong relationships with business unit leaders, SCM Head and other stakeholders
  • Ensure the team’s focus and activities support business unit goals and cross-functional initiatives
  • Set clear performance expectations and KPIs for the team
  • Monitor progress, provide guidance, and take corrective actions as needed
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support career development pathways
  • Oversee the team’s operational processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance
  • Drive improvements in decision-making speed and process effectiveness
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on team performance, risks, and opportunities

What we look in your CV

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in international commercial roles within the pharmaceutical industry, including team management
  • Proven track record in leading teams, driving revenue growth, and improving profitability
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset and ability to interpret financial/market data
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel as required

  • Delegation of authority within the team
  • Decision-making on team priorities, resource allocation, and performance management
  • Representation of the team in cross-functional meetings and strategic forums
