International IT controller
Gedeon Richter Plc. is a leading mid-pharma company in Central and Eastern Europe with a growing global footprint. To support our international AIT (Automation & IT) operations, we’re looking for a skilled International AIT Controller to coordinate planning, cost controlling and reporting processes across subsidiaries. You’ll contribute to corporate-level transparency of AIT-related costs, helping management make informed investment and budget decisions.
Key responsibilities
This role provides high-complexity controlling support for the company’s strategic transformation in the areas of automation&IT. It ensures transparency, financial governance, and value-focused decision-making across the global AIT project portfolio.
- End-to-end controlling support for international AIT initiatives – planning, forecasting, tracking, closing
- Participation in AIT portfolio planning cycles and yearly budgeting process
- Financial consolidation and reporting of global AIT project portfolio, incl. cost-to-date, forecast, variance analysis
- Business partnering with local sites, central AIT experts, finance counterparts and project managers
- Evaluation of project proposals from a finance perspective (cost drivers, funding models, expected value/ROI)
- Active involvement in standardizing controlling practices and methodologies within the AIT portfolio
- Creation of project dashboards, cost trend analyses and management summaries for senior leadership
- Coordination and support for accruals, month-end processes and cost allocations related to AIT
- Ensuring reliable and timely data input from project owners and global finance teams
- Continuous monitoring of project risks, deviations and value realization compared to initial assumptions
- Contribution to financial governance improvements in the global project environment
- Preparation of presentations and financial decision support materials for global project boards
Your profile
- Degree in Finance, Economics or related field
- 10+ years in IT controlling, financial planning or project reporting
- Experience with AIT/IT operations or technical investment processes
- Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI, SAP, JIRA is a plus
- Fluent English; comfortable with daily coordination and senior stakeholder discussions
- Structured, proactive and precise work style
- Ability to work across teams and countries
- Strong analytical mindset
