General Scope
The Head of Group Financial Planning and Reporting (FP&R) is a newly established position and will lead 
the global planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes for Gedeon Richter 
Group (GR) Group. 
Headquartered in Budapest, the GR Group represents a global business of 2.4 billion EUR in revenues, 
0.7 billion EUR in cEBIT, 11,000+ employees across 50+ markets with total assets of 4 billion EUR at 
2024YE. Gedeon Richter Plc. is listed on the Budapest Stock Exchange and its market capitalization is 
cca 5 billion EUR. 
The position holder will be expected to significantly elevate the Group FP&R function by standardizing 
and improving the planning and management reporting processes, further developing in-house FP&R 
capabilities as well as designing and implementing new Planning and Reporting software architecture.
The position holder will play a key role in instilling financial acumen in GR organisation and ensuring 
appropriate control over Group financial resources.
Group FP&R will be one of the key enablers in delivering on GR 2023-2035 growth ambitions, and as part 
of it, support Executive Leadership in driving steep improvements in cEBIT margin by 2030.
Being part of Group Controlling, the position will report to the Global Head of Controlling and will have 2
direct reports (solid reporting line), these being:
▪ Head of Group Financial Planning
▪ Head of Group Management Reporting
The position holder will oversee a team of 10+ highly skilled Group Financial Controllers at GR 
Headquarters in Budapest

Long Description

  • Lead Group planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
  • Deliver accurate reporting, variance analysis, and executive insight
  • Drive cost, WCR, KPI control and business partnering
  • Standardize processes and implement advanced planning/reporting tools
  • Support IR, Board/ExCom materials, M&A integration
  • Lead and develop the Group FP&R function

Long Description

Qualifications
Masters degree in Economics or Business from a reputable university is required. Further qualifications
such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA would be a plus
Language Skills
Fluent written and spoken English and Hungarian is a must

Long Description

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning, Budgeting, Management Reporting or Controlling within large, complex multinational listed companies
  • 7+ years in senior leadership roles, managing large, diverse teams
  • Proven HQ and multi‑country / multi‑affiliate experience
  • Strong hands‑on expertise in SAP‑based budgeting and management reporting
  • Experience with group‑wide planning and reporting system implementations is an advantage
