Global category manager - CAPEX
Your tasks
- Develop and own the global category strategy for indirect materials and services
- Act as the primary strategic interface between Global Procurement and key business functions
- Build and manage relationships with key global suppliers to drive innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement
- Negotiate and maintain global framework agreements, ensuring commercial, quality, and compliance standards are met
- Integrate sustainability, ESG, and carbon footprint reduction objectives into category strategies and supplier selection
- Champion the use of digital procurement tools, analytics, and automation to increase transparency and decision-making speed
- Define and track global category KPIs
- Managing CAPEX investments
What we are looking for
- University degree in Business, Engineering or Life sciences; MBA or advanced degree is preffered
- 10+ years of experience in procurement or category management, including global or regional responsibilities
- Proven track record in managing indirect categories, preferably within a regulated, GMP-compliant environment
- Strong understanding of supplier qualification, quality assurance, and risk management in regulated industries
- Experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional teams, with high cultural awarness and influencing skills
- Excellent command of English; additional language is a plus
- Proficiency with SAP, Ariba and advanced Excel and Power BI skills
