Customer SCM Eastern Region Team Lead

Your daily tasks will be

  • Lead and manage a team of Commercial Supply Chain Operations Managers

  • Ensure corporate OTIF and logistics cost ratio targets are consistently achieved or exceeded

  • Review operational priorities, define performance expectations, and align local and regional managers on execution plans

  • Oversee the resolution of complex supply chain challenges, ensuring cross-functional alignment (e.g., production, quality, regulatory, commercial)

  • Act as a decision-maker for significant operational trade-offs affecting customer service, costs, or inventory health

  • Provide leadership in crisis management situations

  • Keep direct contact with Regional Heads

  • Represent the Commercial Supply Chain function towards regional heads and ensure effective performance management across markets

  • Oversee regional operations, risk assessments, and mitigation planning to secure reliable supply performance

  • Manage logistics budgeting, supplier invoicing, and cost planning for SCM service providers

  • Consolidate forecasts and performance data into executive reports and recommendations

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and succession planning across the region

What we look in your CV

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business Economics, or a related field (Master’s is preferred)
  • 8+ years in supply chain, logistics, or operations, including significant regional or global leadership experience
  • English (C1 level or above) is essential
  • Hungarian (native or near-native) – is a must for daily operations and internal collaboration

  • Deep knowledge of contract negotiation, supplier management, and international logistics
  • Strong analytical skills to assess risks, trends, and opportunities across markets
  • Solid understanding of global trade compliance, customs, and import/export regulations
  • Proven ability to design and optimize logistics processes for efficiency and scalability
  • Experience translating corporate objectives into actionable regional strategies
