At Gedeon Richter, we have a focus on effective and respectful collaboration between different fields, disciplines, and organisational units. We are now looking for a committed and experienced professional for leading the CNS Medical Science Team in the Global Medical Division.

Position summary
The CNS Medical Science Lead manages a team of 4 medical advisors and experts with the aim of providing innovative medical-clinical concepts for pipeline projects and licensing activities. She/he participates in developing the R&D strategy for the CNS therapeutic area, contributes to the development of the medical strategy in the CNS Medical Unit, and provides medical input and guidance ensuring support for CNS pipeline progression. 

 

Responsibilities

•    To apply your in-depth knowledge in CNS drug and pipeline development, incuding standard of care, unmet medical need, guidelines published by authorities, scientific literature, competitive landscape, expert opinion and development precedents.
•    To guide or take part in the preparation and revision of target product profiles, clinical development plans and clinical study synopses.
•    To guide or take part in medical assessment in licensing activities, including medical potential, medical-regulatory considerations and results of tests performed.
•    To perform medical expert tasks in selected key projects/activities.
•    To further develop the medical and scientific dialogue with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including international experts and development partners.
•    You are expected to make proposals for new target opportunities and pipeline expansion.
•    You will represent clinical development aspects in decision-making processes.

 

You bring to our team

•    Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or Master of Science
•    Work experience gained in the pharmaceutical industry in a similar medical role (at least 3-5 years of relevant experience)
•    Hands-on experience in clinical drug development and expertise in the CNS therapeutic area
•    Ability to critically evaluate scientific literature and data
•    Excellent command of the English language (English is our working language)
