Responsibilities

• Define and lead global API category strategy
• Translate business requirements and manufacturing needs into sourcing strategies that ensure supply continuity, quality, and cost competitiveness
• Establish category governance structures, including supplier segmentation, risk management, and performance frameworks
• Coordinate the annual category planning cycle, setting strategic objectives, savings targets, and innovation priorities
• Partner with Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and R&D to ensure supplier and material strategies support product lifecycle needs.
• Collaborate with regional and site procurement teams to deploy global strategies and identify synergies across the manufacturing network
• Negotiate and maintain global framework and supply agreements in alignment with quality and compliance requirements
• Ensure all sourcing and supplier management activities comply with GxP, EHS, and ethical procurement standards

What we are looking for

• University degree in engineering or economics.
• 10+ years of procurement/category management experience
• Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory compliance, and supplier qualification processes.
• Demonstrated success in global sourcing, cost optimization, and supplier performance management.
• Experience working in complex, matrixed, and multinational environments.
• Proficiency preferred with SAP, Ariba, and advanced Excel/Power BI; strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages desirable
