API & Chemicals Procurement Team Lead
Your tasks
- Lead procurement activities for specified categories under the responsibility of the assigned groups
- Conduct supplier market analysis, benchmark pricing, and negotiate contracts with global and local suppliers
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in quality, delivery, and cost.
- Manage supplier risk, including compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Manufacturing, and Planning teams to align procurement decisions with product lifecycle, compliance, and production needs
- Set clear objectives, mentor team members, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Manage budget forecasts and procurement KPIs, including cost reduction, on-time delivery, and supplier quality performance
What we are looking for
- Master’s degree, preferred in economics or engineering
- 7+ years of procurement experience, with a minimum of 3 years in leadership
- Deep experience in sourcing API, excipients, chemicals, packaging, medical devices and finished pharmaceutical products
- Proven knowledge of cGMP, FDA, ISO and ICH guidelines
- Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement tools
- Fluent English knowledge
